The title of the course is spot on. She made it VERY simple, clear, precise, and easy to follow along. She showed how to create the artwork in canva and also went over some of the features in the software. Each lesson was taught with step-by-step instructions that made it easy for note taking. I watched the video and took notes along the way. She explained everything so well that I didn't have to go back to the lesson to practice with the artwork that came with the course. I followed the notes that I took and was able to complete the artwork with ease. The notes were also very helpful with the "final exam". Although the artwork was slightly different, I was still able to use the notes I took to successfully create the stitching for the final exam. I really appreciated the bonus lessons. I am also using the knowledge from this class to learn other digitizing techniques. If you want to start learning how to digitize, this is the perfect class to get your feet wet. IT'S THAT GOOD!!!

Since 2021, I've been deeply immersed in the world of embroidery, and by 2022, I delved into digitizing using the Hatch software. I've gone between Hatch and my embroidery machine more times than I can count. As soon as I would digitize, I would stitch it out to see how it looks. I kept track of everything that worked and what didn't, and built a whole technique around digitizing that made it so much easier for me to do. Applique is one of the techniques that can be very simple but get very complex as well. Luckily, my mission is to demystify appliqué digitizing and guide you through every aspect of the process.

AFTER THE COURSE

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Three Assignments + 1-on-1 Zoom Call (1hr Only)

    You'll have the opportunity to complete three assignments within 15 days of finishing the last video. Upon submission, you'll be eligible for a one-hour session with me. During the one-hour session, you'll have the opportunity to discuss your completed assignments, receive feedback, ask questions, and seek personalized guidance on any aspects of appliqué digitizing.

  • Facebook Group

    Currently, there isn't a Facebook group open for enrollment. However, there are plans to launch one in the coming weeks to foster community engagement among course participants. The opening date will depend on enrollment numbers and logistical factors. Once ready, you'll receive updates via email and announcements within the course platform on how to join. The Facebook group will serve as a hub for discussions, questions, and additional resources related to the course content.     The course is self-paced, allowing you to learn at your own speed. On average, students can complete the course within 1 week, but you can take more or less time as per your schedule.

  • Will I receive feedback on my progress throughout the course?

    Feedback is provided at the end of the course upon completion of the three assignments. You'll have the opportunity to complete these assignments within 15 days of finishing the last video. Upon submission, you'll be eligible for a one-hour session with me to discuss your work and receive personalized guidance.
